Drugs or drugs that fall into the UAD category are available without a prescription. The UAD drugs are: Only Pharmacy and Drugstore (UAD) This category of over-the-counter medicines is only available in pharmacies or drugstores: You are taking a medicine whose package insert is clear enough about the risks and side effects to be able to use the medicine properly. The risks associated with the use of substances from this category are therefore less than in the UA category. A pharmacist or druggist is available for additional explanations about the use of the drug if the buyer asks for it.
