Davitamon Vitamin K Oil is a nutritional supplement specifically for breastfed infants. Vitamin K plays an important role in blood clotting. The body produces vitamin K in the intestines, but this does not yet happen sufficiently in infants. In addition, breast milk contains too little vitamin K.
That is why infants who are fed entirely or largely on breast milk need extra vitamin K during the first three months of life. The Health Council advises giving breastfed infants an extra 150 micrograms (µg) of vitamin K from day 8 to 12 weeks.
With Davitamon Vitamin K oil you can easily administer this in the form of drops.
