Product description

This medicine belongs to a group of medicines called non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAIDs). These agents are used to treat pain and inflammation.

Voltaren K 25 mg is a painkiller that also reduces inflammation (swelling) and has a fever-reducing effect. It has no effect on the cause of the inflammation or fever.

What is this medicine used for
Voltaren K 25 mg is used in the treatment of rheumatic pain, myalgia,
headache, toothache and menstrual pain, acute lower back pain, pain and fever with the flu, laryngitis and colds.

Not to be used with
• If you have been diagnosed with heart disease or cerebrovascular disease; you
for example, has a heart attack, stroke or mini-stroke (TIA) or constipation
of the blood vessels to the heart or brain or you have had surgery for this
(e.g. a bypass operation);
• You are allergic to any of the ingredients in this medicine.
• If you have or have had a stomach or gastrointestinal ulcer;
• If you have noticed blood in your stools or black, tarry stools (symptoms of gastrointestinal bleeding);
• If your liver is severely reduced or not working;
• If your kidneys are severely reduced or not working;
• If you have or have had problems with your blood circulation (peripheral arterial disease);
• During the last 3 months (third trimester) of pregnancy;
• If you have ever had an asthma attack or wheezing, chest pain, a
extensive itchy skin rash (urticaria) or a “hay fever-like” runny nose
after taking other NSAIDs such as aspirin or ibuprofen;
• With a cerebral hemorrhage or other bleeding or bleeding disorders;
• In case of blood count abnormalities;
• With certain abnormalities of the bone marrow
