The dose of 0.29 mg gives a comparable absorption as 2.9 mg melatonin.

Bio-Melatonin Complex also contains 10 mg niacin. The body’s own production of melatonin uses the substance L-tryptophan as a raw material. The same substance is also a raw material for the production of niacin. By adding 10 mg niacin, 600 mg L-tryptophan is saved for the body’s own production of melatonin.
