Product description
The guar plant (Cyamopsis tetragonoloba) is grown in several parts of India, even in places where there is severe drought. The beans and leaves of this plant have been part of the Indian diet for thousands of years. Guar beans are a rich source of soluble prebiotic fiber. Vitals Organic Guar Bean Fibers use SunfiberĀ®. This is the brand name of guar bean fibers that obtain their superior user-friendly properties, such as excellent solubility in water, through the use of a natural fermentation process. The fermented guar bean fibers from SunfiberĀ® are considered the ideal fibers worldwide! What are fibers? Dietary fibers are long chains of carbohydrates, consisting of 10 or more carbohydrate building blocks (monosaccharides), and which cannot be broken down by digestive enzymes in the human small intestine. Dietary fiber is an important part of a varied and balanced diet. Fibers can be divided into two categories, water-soluble and water-insoluble fibers. Examples of water-soluble fibers are guar bean fiber (also called galactomannan), inulin (FOS) and psyllium fiber. Non-water soluble fibers include wheat bran and fibers from other (whole grain) grains. Water-soluble fibers are also called prebiotics because they can be fermented by the intestinal flora. The more soluble a fiber is, the better it is fermented. Fermentation by the intestinal flora produces metabolites such as short-chain fatty acids (including butyrate, propionate, acetate). However, it is important that this fermentation process does not take place too quickly, otherwise it can cause gas formation. SunfiberĀ® from Taiyo SunfiberĀ® has the ideal properties of excellent water solubility and not too fast, but complete, fermentation. This makes the product very user-friendly, compared to, for example, psyllium fibers that dissolve considerably less well in water and inulin that is fermented very quickly. Taiyo is the producer of SunfiberĀ® and global market leader and expert in the field of guar bean fibers. The fibers from guar beans normally form a gel in water. Taiyo has therefore developed a special production process to make the fibers better dissolve in water. The reason for this gel formation is that guar bean fibers naturally consist of very long chains of carbohydrates. Through a fermentation process (by adding a natural enzyme), the long chains are, as it were, pre-digested in the factory into shorter chains, which are much more soluble. However, the carbohydrate chains must not be too short, otherwise they will be fermented too quickly in the intestine. Taiyo's unique production process ensures the optimal chain length and gives SunfiberĀ® its ideal properties. In addition, the SunfiberĀ® in Guar Bean Fibers Organic is made entirely from organically grown guar beans. Biological The active ingredients of organic food supplements are guaranteed of natural origin and not synthetically manufactured. In addition, the environment, animals and people are taken into account as much as possible during production. Various regulations specify what this means. No chemical pesticides, artificial fertilizers or genetically modified organisms are used. The Skal Biocontrol Institute checks whether the regulations are complied with and whether a product can be called organic. Organic products can be recognized by the code NL-BIO-01 and the European organic quality mark.
